Is there a brand that does not use plastic where the spring rides on the bearings? I replaced one that was a year old about a month back and I am pretty sure the other is bad now. first one (passenger) broke where the spring rides on the bearing ring which put the spring off center and it popped alot especially the worse the spring wore past the plastic ring. now i get a pop every so often from the drivers side and its getting more frequent. kind of annoying as i replaced all struts and mounts last may/june and have less then 15k miles on them.
