98 gtp with 97 motor ?????

I have a 98 gtp but when running the vac lines correct figured out the motor is a 97 my dic isn't working only flashing 0 in everything can how do I get the dic working in this situation any and all info is appreciated thank u

DIC has nothing to do with the vac lines or the motor year.

Did you swap the 97 pcm in ? You shouldn't have.

No I have both a 97 and a 98 PCM

The only differences in the motors is a vac tree on the front of the SC. Which you can cap off with 3 caps

The 97 PCM is hooked up now but I have a 98 or 99 maybe even 2000 model PCM

Heck, you might only have a 97 charger.

Wouldn't that make the motor a 97 ?? Another question shifts perfect in all her except for when shifting from 2 to 3 have to kinda get the rpm up but after third shifts fine in other gears

A 97 pcm is pinned totally different than a 98. Put the pcm for the year of the car in the car. Use the wiring harness for the year of the car as well.
