Just picked up this gtp on a good deal.Here is the issue.Took it for a test drive.3rd takes a little long to shift.4th hopes in and out.So i did a filter and trans fluid change.The oil was very dark almost like engine oil.took it out for a drive problems was gone.just a little slow in shifting 3rd tho.A day later same issues are back. For got to mention it slips nows.

its tranny time for that car.

the 4 th gear hub is stripped out and needs to be replaced. thats the in and out of o/d. the slipping is cause the fluid was black. its beat up good. some trans medix type stuff might keep you going for a while if your not to hard on it.

in the end, you need a rebuild or a used tranny swapped in there.
