98 GT How to remove Coolant Reservoir?

I found a small crack in my coolant reservoir bottle. I'm going to get one Wednesday and need help on how to remove the bottle. From what I see, I need to remove the support bar, move the intake and box, and I'm assuming its mounted down on the platform that holds it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :th_thumbsup-wink:

It is considered a better setup. The 97/98 bottle has a 4 foot hose that connects it to the radiator, in the 4 feet it passes through both motor mounts (where it appears to be crushed shut) does a few bends, etc etc.

The newer bottle is closer to the radiator, shorter hose with no obstructions...it's viewed as better.

yes the 98 bottle is on the driver side by the radiator.
i think u need the air box out so you can replace the bottle.

id say dont buy a new one. you can duck tape :)
or go to the junk yard

You got the idea just expoy the thing :th_winking: also changing to to 99 and up puts the bottle in a bad place to work on the eng belts and leaves less room to check the power steering level, some people that had changed went back to the 98 set up because of the hassel.
