98 grand prix se intake upgrade?? help?

hey everyone, a little new to this site, i dont know ever number and aspect to the grand prixs, always wanted one now i got one.

i have a 98 SE 3800 project. i bought some hids from a buddy and he mentioned something about an intake upgrade sorta....
i realize when you take the intake off that there is an insert that comes out effortless. he said that there was a difference between the se and the gt intake inserts? or the whole intake? or that it was a zzp upgrade?
its a question wayyy up in the air.... just trying to get some more info on it thanks

what are you guys's inputs/oppinoins on....
spacer plate without s/c?
bigger injectors?
north star t.b. without s/c?
just seen a few mods, wondering how it would help/hurt?
you guys have a few low cost tricks to add/free up h.p. on a base 3800 motor?

Idle down turbo, don't get ahead of yourself. The intake inserts are the same from the factory, HV3 is ZZPerformance's upgrade.

By spacer plate if you mean a phenolic spacer... No it won't work N/A.

You don't need bigger injectors or a N* at this point, read, learn and come back to that thought.

The trick to adding/ freeing up power on a N/A 3800 is Boost.
