97 gtp sputtering and bogging?

i have a 97 gtp starts up then when i hit about 2500 rpm it starts 2 sputter and jump a little bit then the check engine light starts blinking its also shifting kind of funny???? is my trans going or could this be something else?

u have multiple cylinder misfires... ur catalytic converter could be clogged or just need plugs and wires.

hmm ill check it out if its the cat i would have to cut it out or get a new one correct?

u can gut it out if u like... u will more than likely have a SES light, but it wont hurt anything... or get a new 3 in downpipe with hi flo cat here... ZZPerformance

take the whole downpipe out... 2 bolts up top ... 2 bolts on bottom.
