97-03 GTP top speed?



I've heard of people hitting 140's but you are just asking for a crash and for the stock tranmission to blow up.

They don't tend to survive long with WOT 4th gear shifts.
 
With rockers headers genv and tune I've had mine exactly 150 multiple times more than I can count actually
 
Yup! It depends on mod level and tune. With my mods at about 120mph it keeps climbing 1 MPH at a time. I am sure someone with a proper tune and a cam or heads will do much better.
 


I've had mine up to 140. I dont remember what mods I had on it at the time, I dont plan on ever going that fast again.
 
there was a vid someone had their car on teh dyno and the HUD maxed at 199

bare in mind the car in the vid was heavily modded.
also it depends on gearing as 3rd gear in 2.93s can go up to like 180 whereas 3.29 3rd goes up to about 125
going into 4th i heard can shatter at high speeds.
i've gone 140-150ish with the 2.93s but never again, not with this car's suspension
