96 4t60-e into 95, will it work??

hey everyone i just got a 95 grand prix with a bad motor and trans. I have a motor and trans out of a 96 Beretta and i was wondering if there were any differences in the transmissions, the only thing i am really worried about is the shifter, the Beretta's shift pattern was PRN(D)DL while the grand prix is PRND123, are there any major differences? PLEASE HELP!!!
