Every question I ask is probably dumb-I drove this car from Montana to Arizona last March. Problems appeared of course, only one I never did get resolved. With the engine under load, such as going up mountains, temp gage indicated way over 200. Going down hill, no load on engine, temp went way down below 200. Radiator fans seem to work ok, not sure about one of them. Another dumb overheat question, I guess.
 


Check coolant level in the radiator and overflow tank. If it's all full replace thermostat and do a coolant flush. Should take care of the problem.
