Hi,
I have a 94 Grand Prix with a 3.1 and it's been running hot lately.
It only runs hot when setting still.
I have checked the relays for the fans and the working of the fans and they work great.
It's not low on water and I installed a new water pump about 1yr ago.
I know by the car cooling back down after moving tells me that the radiator is clean and the thermostate is working. I have a coolant temp sensor on the counter at NAPA to try next.
The fan does not turn on until it gets to 220 degrees.
I think it is suppose to turn on at 210 but not sure.
Does anyone know when the sensor turns on/off the fan?
