'90 Grand Prix - bad mileage and weird sounds...

Hi everyone,
Recently registered on your folks forum, and glad to be a part of this community! :rolleyes:
My Grand Prix is 1990, it's 3.1 L V6 and recently something has happened to it. First, I noticed decrease in its gas mileage, which I decided to tolerate, thinking that it's because of colder weather, or poor quality gas I got... Anyways, the new symptom appeared yesterday when it seemed to me that I heared something... So I got out of the vehicle, popped the hood and listened to the way it operates... and suddenly heared something like 'hisss' whistle, for 1-2 seconds only, and silence again... So I thought maybe these 2 are connected in any way... Plan to take my Grand Prix to the station, but have an appointment only tomorrow, so decided to ask your guys advice....
Any ideas are welcome!
 


Thanks for your help, man! last night went to check vacuum stuff, as you said, and really there is a vacuum leak due to a small crack or something in the vacuum reservoir.... Now at least I know what's wrong with it, finally... I went online and ordered a new reservoir already (https://www.carid.com/vacuum-reservoirs/), so hoping to get it delivered to me on Saturday, so that I could get it replaced this weekend...
