69-72 Grand Prix 4sp conversion

Hello GP fans.... I have a 69 GP with an automatic.... looking to go to a 4sp... I need help in tracking down 2 items.... some of you may have these

1. The Counter Shaft bracket ... original GM part number was 09795672
*** I have seen several parts shop "claim" to have a functionally correct bracket, this is fine...I do not "have to have" the OEM bracket... but it needs to fit using the factory holes
2. 4sp console plate (I know they are stupid rare, but someone might have one)

Also, anyone with pictures / advise of a similar conversion they have done would be great... and any input on the best place to get a munci transmission (re built is fine).

Hi, I'd like to convert mine too but would use modern stuff instead. A friend's 69 (lives a few hours away and I don't have pics or details on that setup) is using a TKO successfully. As far as I know theres not much 69 GTO parts that don't work on 69 GP except body and trim. I do know that most any auto body, welding, or metal shop could fabricate an appropriate bracket for you.
