5 button DIC question

I need to replace my DIC. Someone ripped out my radio and broke the DIC in the process. I have seen some for sale. My question is if I plug in a used one will it read the miles that I have on my car or will it read the milage of the car it came off of?
 


Nope. It will read the mileage of the car it came out of. You need to bring the old and new to a GM dealer with a Tech II scanner so they can reprogram them!
