4th gear? not engaging

hey, so my 02 gtp is not ever shifting into 4th gear. im just wondering if anyone else has this problem or a fix for it? could it be low on tranny fluid?

My first response would be a stripped out 4th hub. You can repair it, but it's a pretty big job. Have you pulled codes on it at all? Dropped the pan to check for metal flakes\chunks or anything?
 
hmm ok. no i havnt done anything yet. i just noticed it yesterday on my way home from work... wouldn't know if there was any noise at the time it happen either unfortunately my system is always turned up.
 
Ok so i ordered headers today and I'm going to order parts to change the hub out and put a shift kit in while I'm in there tomorrow... can anyone point me in the direction of a parts list of everything i will need as i have no clue. Possibly a write up if there's any? Or any info at all would be awesome!
