4T65E power coming in and out

I have an 04 impala with a shift kit installed. Car is making a humming sound that only happens while in drive and gets louder as i go faster (maybe the trans) i feel the power coming in and out at mid to high rev range. feels almost like the trans is rapidly slipping over and over. also within first mile of driving i sometimes hear a loud crunch. sounds like i ran over a can. any ideas?
 


Did you have any difficulty installing the shift kit? Did you make sure the lines were properly? How did it operate before the shift kit?
