4T65E HD tranny swap and perf. shift question

hello there,first off i gotta 1998 pontiac grand prix GTP with the 4T65E HD tranny in it.And it now needs a tranny so i bought this 2000 pontiac grand prix GTP 4T65E HD tranny with only 12k on it.I also got the transmission cooler lines and the PCM computer with this deal.My question is,the 98' tranny has the performance shift button but,the 00' tranny i believe has perf. shift built in to it.Is it a direct swap wit jus trannys?Will i have to swap PCM's as well?Or will this make a difference with the swap of jus trannys and me still bein able to use my button?thanks.
 


The valve body was not changed till late 02 so its a direct bolt in, you dont need that pcm and everything will work fine.
 
just found out that if you dont have the trans range switch on the outside, you can bolt your 98 one to it and everything will be good.
