4T65E-HD Input shaft seal removal



the large lip seal in the bellhousing behind the convertor? take a long screwdriver and a hammer and pound on the edge of it to fold it in, be careful not to damage the case
 
The only other seal on the input shaft itself is an o-ring. Easy with a pick. Pretty sure you are talking about the seal Anthony describes.
 
Yup, Looks like my terminology was bad. I was talking about the torque converter seal (what anthony was talking about) I decided to get a street strip rebuild from Dave at TEP. Dave also suggested the same removal method, but I'm going to let him deal with it :)
