4t60E and 4t65E case ???

May be a dumb ? But I need to know are the 4t60e transmission cases the same as the 4t65e? I found a transmission on post actually with the same gear ratio as the differential i need the trans code on this one if found it from a 99 monte 3.1 code 8AHW can this be built as a 4t65E so i have a back up???
