4t60 or 4t65

i have a 97 gtp and purchased a used tranny but i am getting diffrent info from my local club saying that the 97 gtp used 4t60 tranny and a got a 2001 tranny which is the 4t65. which one is it??? :confused:
 


ok thanks for the reply but it seems that i cant use that tranny, did soe searching and the 01 tranny uses quick release lines and the 97 didnt.
 
Actually all 97 GTPs had the 4T65E transmission, I have a few of them now. Only the supercharged GPs got the 4T65E transmission, the non supercharged 3800 and the 3100 cars got the 4T60E trans in 97.
