42lb injectors adequate, or will I need 60s?

Just trying to get some info together. Doing rockers, headers, E85, pulley drop, and tune on a L32 in a month or two. I've done a bunch of reading, but there seems to be varying opinions on injectors. Would I be fine with 42lb, or do I need 60s? Also, what are good brands and what should I watch for when buying injectors?

Whats the horsepower goal and what pulley do you think you want to drop too??



To me if you are just thinking the 3.0-3.2 pulley range, then 42's and regular pump gas will get you there just fine. Weigh your options I guess, just know that E85 will mean up to 30% more fuel used overall.

Sounded like a 3.4 would be safe with the mods on a L36 (unless I get it all set-up and tuned and I don't have any KR and can drop another size). Well, the mods listed is as far as I'm taking the car - whatever that makes for horsepower. lol

Yeah, I'm not too concerned about the fuel consumption, off-school months I don't drive very much so that's not an issue.

I would do 60s, it would leave some on the table for future mods. I run 80s
