does anyone know where i can get a clear lens for the 3rd brake light on a 2001 gtp. im tired of the red lens, its boring. clear one with red bulbs would look waaaaay better. match with my LED tails better to. anyother 3rd light sugestions are welcome. thanks:th_thumb-up:
 


if your windows are tinted... just tint the 3rd brake light... if they are not tintd... still tint the lens... it will look black but allow light through (just like the actual tail lights do)

ya, back window is tinted, but i don't know if thats the look i want. i'm wanting a clear lens, and i can put red bulbs in it. i've seen the tinted before, but never a clear one. wanted to do somethin different.

thanks for the comment though, ill be pondering it for sure.
 
I suppose a piece of plexiglass would work you would have to cut it to fit. To be honest, I don't think you will find on that's clear I'm sure they are all red it's a DOT thing.
A clear one would be custom work. Check out Home Depot they have Plexi in stock.

i was thinkin checkin that out. your right, probably only way im gonna be able to do it. Lol i could start a side business!! ha, yea right. but, i will be goin to Lowes;). first, anyway. good idea thanks bro

i dunno, i probably will since i have led taillights, but first im gonna see what it looks like with red bulbs, i have the right pair of those that i took outta my old camaro, i had clear tail lenses on that too, and its the same bulb. if that looks fine, ill just stick with it and save more money to performance mods. only time i tried to use leds, they didnt work anyway
