3100 to L36 Wiring HELP

first of all i want to apologize, im sure the answer is already posted somewhere but i cant seem to find it...

1999 GP SE. i am pulling the 3100 to drop in a L36(yeayea i know, why not a L67. i have my reasons). My QUESTION is this, instead of unplugging everything from the engine all sensors etc., i just unplugged the engine harness from the back of the underhood fuse box and left all wiring attached and sitting on the top of the 3100 to be pulled out with the motor, can i simply pull the L36 out of the donor car and plug the wiring harness into the back of the existing fuse block from where i unplugged the other one? or do i need to switch out fuse boxes and wiring going into the car too??
THanks in Advance :D

i think you can but i dont its as easy just pluging it in, you may need to swap some wires around, what year motor is the l36 out of?

i think you should be ok, there may be slite differecnces but it'll be ok,,it may just be easier if you just get a complete cradle from a GT, then you dont have to worry about mounting, wireing, trans, things like that

yeah i was kinda wondering about the mounts too...guess i will see when i get the donor car though. i will be using the tranny out of the donor car too.
Thanks for the input.

Update: delayed, I know.
Bought a 2000 GP GT, was intending on using it for parts for mine but it's in good enough condition that I'm currently fixing it up and putting it on the road lol. Still planning on finishing my 99 too though.

Anyway...... I checked the wiring in the under hood fuse box between the two cars (99 SE 3100 and 00 GT 3800[L36]) they ARE the SAME! should make the swap nice and easy when the time comes. :)

Yea I was thinking that too, just waiting for the extra dough so I can buy PCM suite. $500-600 isn't exactly pocket change for me lol

BTW:appreciate the input !
