3 or 4" intake?

ive stumbled onto the subject of using a 3" or 4" intake pipe a couple of times now. I just removed the fwi that was on the car and replaced it with a homemade msp replica but I havnt ordered my filter yet and was curious the size difference would actually make a difference on my car with my mods even though im still running the stock TB. I'm about to get the car tuned so I'd like to have it all together soon, Last night I finished installing my aem uego so hopefully soon!

Thoughts? Ideas? No, Im not interested in buying a larger tb or maf. Dont really see the need for a weekend driver.

4". the bigger the better with these cars.

in fact, just take it off and shove the cone on the throttle body.

4" FWI here.

Also, you want to keep the bends of your intake down as much as you can...remember, just like plumbing for liquid, to tight of a bend, or too many bends can be slightly restrictive...my maximum bend is only 1 - 45* bend and thats it.

im using 3" cause i didnt want to cut out too much and its working like a charm. less bends is true. one 45* here also.

ignore the lid, i made a wrong cut and until the weather clears I'm not taking the table saw outside. I also have heat insulation for it too. Will get rid of the factory elbow later, just needed it for now.

sorry its been so long for my reply, Its been hectic. New Cv's, lim, and the dealer valve cover recall. And of course work and my uninsulated garage...
