3.3* of kr at 6327 rpms

Im running an xp cam with ported heads, full size intercooler, sd headers, N* tb/maf, 42.5 lb injectors and a built transmission.

how much kr is normal at a wot pull right before a 2 to 3 shift? Im chasing some kr, I went from a 3.0 pulley and 12* of timing at wot to a 3.25" pulley and 17* of timing, and with the 3.25 I had 3.3* of kr at full throttle right before the shift. I heard someplace the blue LS6 valve springs were less effective, and so I'm wondering if they are causing the kr the car shifted at 6327 rpms.

maybe torque management is kicking in?

Couldnt say for sure, but maybe just not spin in that far.

Set it to shift like 100-200rpm sooner and the KR drops or goes away completely, then you have nothing to worry about and you wont even notice the change in shift rpm. I just know that the 2-3 shift is known to show knock in alot of cars.

I will lower the shift rpms to like 6200 and see what effect it has, I have a flexible transmission dipstick tube, and it was butted up against the rear portion of the crossover pipe, I moved it so its not touching the headers anymore, will take the car for another run maybe Monday, we are headed out of town for the weekend.

Have you tuned to the XP power band? Why are you reving up to +6300 anyways?... Lolz
Ls6 valve springs less effective for what lift?
Then you're jumping to torque management... Is it enabled?

didn't have anything to do with torque management. ended up increasing the fuel cutoff table from 6300/6400 rpms to 6400/6500 and the high rpm kr went away.

I always set the high rpm fuel cutoff to 7k, because I don't want it to ever be cut. For the blips, add a bit of fuel at that maf hz and see if it helps (maybe 3%).
