Looking to go from my stock 2.93 to 3.29s is there any writes up for doing the swap I'm going with the kit that zzp sells any tips would be appreciated and also what you guys think about the 3.29 gears my mods are sd headers, 3inch exhaust,3.4 pulley,kn intake,180 tstat, 90lbs springs and gonna end up swapping in overkill wills sbc cam but not yet and I'm also gonna do a tune from reptile
 


I think it's a pain in the butt to either drop the trans or try and get the snap ring off/back on with the trans in the car.

The way you swap it is you take a set of NA gears and you swap them on the driverside. Which would mean, you'd follow the write up I posted about 4th gear clutch hub and go a set further to remove the gears. But.. and key here is you can't remove the input shaft while the trans is in the vehicle. There is an o-ring on it that you must remove first..or pull the clip that holds the gear to the shaft, then get the new one back on. This is a pain in a car, not impossible though.
