245 tires on 17s and 20" rims

I thought stock tires/rim were 225/60/16 diameter 26.63 but i may be wrong

Anyway 225/55/17 diameter is 26.74

So if i went with a 255/50/17 at 27.04 diameter that would be a 0.30 in diameter difference and or bigger in size i should say.

So by looking at my pics front tires particularly, would .30 more in diameter (less than half inch) make my tires rubs?

Using the pics as a reference if they're clear enough to see

the difference between the 225/60R16 and the 225/55R17 is negligible. you always want to stay within 3% diameter differences unless you have a reason for going shorter or taller (to go lower or go higher).

Bummer, i could just try the size but if they do rub aint nobody gonna let me return no tires

Lol now that would be a bummer to and a waste of money
