20k What car would you buy?

So i'm curious, what would you guys buy if you had a 20k budget for a car.
Assume you already have a commuter car to drive to work everyday/family hauler.
Could be a truck SUV, not necessarily a sports car.

Why?

One of my choices would be a 2012 G37 X
AWD solid Power, nice to drive looks good, and more or less reliable.
 


Maybe a '70 440 6-pack?

Or a '69 Boss 429?

Or an old skool nova wagon?

Those might blow 20k outta the water tho...

Is that all they have is a 2.0?
there was one by me that looked stock minus his entire exhaust system seemed like it was missing. He drove it pedal to the floor all around town , every light etc. definitely moved

2.0T with 220 hp tune throws it up to 270,
 


I would get a ford focus st. 2.0 liter turbo engine and has like 250+ hp, you can get an awd version, but that will run you like 35K
 


i would be hard pressed to find a car on the same level as my CTS-V for under $20k. it's truly a great all around car for the money and higher mileage ones are starting to go for under $10k. with the low buy in you could toss a cam and heads at it almost immediately after buying it without much strain on the wallet.

20k? Buy a gtp and fix it up nice for 5k (3.4 setup with cam) for a dd and spend the other 15k on an F-body turbo build. Duh


But if you're financing and don't have the cash on hand, then get a used cts-v or G8
 
I wouldn't buy any car that cost 20k, then you have nothing left to mod with.

Single cab truck for 8-10k, dump 8-10k into it and have something with 700+ whp and go crash it into a tree.
