2009 impala tranny

i am wondering what trannys are in the 2009 impalas with the 3500 engine and will they work on the 3.8l engines found one for cheap just wondering if it would work i know the prn switch would have to be wired
 


It's still a 4 speed auto with the 3.5 and 3.9, so I just assume it's still a 4T65e.

But the bigger question is what gear ratio did they put in them. Was it 3.29, 2.93, 3.05, 2.86?
 
97-02 was one set of electronics and vb/channel plate.
03 was it's own thing for electroncs and vb/channel plate
04+ was one basic set of electronics and vb/channel plate. However Dave at TEP will tell you to look for the code BL on the tag as those swap the best. My experience is 04+ has not been a problem beyond.. putting the correct diff into a NA to keep same ratio or ensure I had an SC to SC trans. That way the drive/driven ratio was always the same.
