2008 Grand Prix radio connector disconnected from rear window

Hi. First time post. I just bought an '08 Grand Prix base and I noticed a black connector is dangling by the top of the rear window. After doing a little research, I believe this is where the antenna cable connects to the rear window. In something I read, it also made mention of a "post" on the window where the antenna connector should attach? I don't see any "post" on the window - just more or less flat window with a couple pieces of solder around it maybe. I'm wondering if something fell off. I haven't cleaned anything off yet. I did buy a Permatex rear window defogger conductive tab adhesive repair kit to try to reattach it though.

Can someone tell me how things connect up exactly? Am I missing a small component/post that should be on the window? If so, where can I order one (part number)? Or, can I clean everything up a bit and use the kit I bought to just attach the antenna piece (sort of shaped like a headphone earplug) directly to the window? Thanks for any details/info...

No. Thanks for replying. I found the "post" piece I was looking for. It is a small, round copper "post" I guess you could call it that the radio antenna module connector snaps on to on the back window. It had broken off and was lodged inside the connector. I only discovered this because I saw a pic of the connector online that showed an open, star-shaped opening to accept the post. This was disguised by the bottom of the post coated in solder. Could be fiddly to reattach, but hopefully, it will fix the radio reception issue...

Oh. Mine is apparently something aftermarket... It has the radio antenna wire up there, but it connects to the window at the bottom with an extra cable running down the rear pillar. Looks different than the original cable, but the end looks like it was done in a shop, very cleanly attached with what looks like extra lines running in between the defroster lines. Previous owner spent ALOT of money for no reason on this car. Lol
