2008 grand prix key stuck in ignition

I have a 2008 grand prix and today the key is locked in the ignition.I have seen other threads and post about taking the steering column apart and removing the park solenoid,but my ignition is in the dash next to the steering wheel.has anybody else had this problem?any suggestions.
