2008 grand prix ac quits then works after short stop

I was going down the high way and my ac started blowing warm air stopped at a rest stop for about 15 minutes and it started blowing cold air again.So this the way its been ac works for awhile then blows warm air until I shut the car off for awhile then it blows cold air again . Thanks for any help.
 


Probably low on refrigerant. If you just shut the ac off for about 2 minutes and it blows cold then goes warm again in a few minutes after that. Please define a while.

Don't know yet Jeff let you know after I have the Freon checked next week it is working ok right now.Thanks again for your input
