2007 Pontiac grand prix remote start problems

Hi,

I have an 07 pontaic grand prix that starts with the remote starter. When the starter turns the car off, the remote starter will not start a 2nd time. Also, my car will not start with my key afterwards unless I press on the gas.

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue with your vehicle. Is it a stock remote start or aftermarket?

The remote start allows for two separate starts per ignition cycle, each with 10 minutes of engine running time.

It needs to be reset after your vehicle’s engine is started two times using the transmitter’s remote start button.

The remote start system is reset by inserting the vehicle’s key into the ignition switch and turning to RUN.

If this feature is still not operating correctly, I recommend having the vehicle inspected by a certified technician for additional assistance.
