2007 Grand Prix Center Console Removal???

Hi. I am trying to remove the center console on my 2007 Grand Prix. I have removed the four bolts on the outside. However, when i try to pull it up there is still something holding it down. I'm not really sure and I don't want to force it and break something. Any help is very appreciated thanks.

steel spring pop clips, do a rip n pull you should be fine

well good news bad news. The good news is that there were three of those clips. The bad news is that there are now only two. As a reference for anyone else trying to get the center console off, you are going to want to pull it straight up, and pull ridiculously hard. They are tough lil buggers.

yeah I tried using a few things for leverage, but your gonna need something rather long to do so. there arn't a whole lot of good spots to get any leverage on, and the plastic bends kinda easy which doesn't help at all.

I got mine out of my 05 perfectly, the only thing was the wiring harness clip for the 12V plugs had to be uncliped, otherwise it was the 4 bolts and moving the gear shifter around (coulda taken that off but i was lazy)
