2007 GP HID Harness and DRL Relay Chatter Question

On a 2007 model I am installing a VVME Digital Ultra slim 5000K 9006 kit. I do not want to disable my DRLs and want the HIDs to come on as headlights as well as DRLs. Pulling my DRL module ins't really my favorite option. Is the voltage in DRL mode sufficient to energize the relay or will it chatter due to modulated current? If it's a chatter issue then will a simple capacitor mod to the relay coil suffice? Should I also install a diode inline to prevent backflow of current to the DRL module? The harness is on it's way and I want to make sure I have all of the components I need before install. I would like to do it only once and not have to go in and re-do anything.

I have already exhausted myself searching for this answer in these threads so forgive me if I've overlooked it somewhere, and just point me in the right direction. If this isn't even an issue with the 2007s, then that will be great!

Well, I guess nobody else knew so I just did it on my own and it works great. The whole project cost under $14 barring the HIDs themselves. Here's what I did. I bought a $8 HID relay harness from Ebay. I used a 4700uf 35V capacitor at the coil of the relay and a 3A 400PIV diode on the positive lead of the wire leading to the relay coil. I'm pretty sure I could have used a 2200uf capacitor but the 4700uf wasn't that much more money. It takes about a 1/2 second for the 4700uf to discharge to the point that the contacts drop out. So they stay on for a 1/2 second after being turned off (no more chattering). I put the diode in line on the + side of the coil wire to prevent any backflow of current from the capacitor to my DRL module that might cause damage. It works like a charm! Now my HID's come on as my DRL. They fire up every single time! If I'm not feeling too lazy I'll post pics or a video and a step by step if anyone is interested. Otherwise I'll just assume nobody cares by the responses (lack of) I received and I won't waste my time. "I'm only hearing crickets chirping right now"

Capacitor = $3.50 ($6 or more if you get it from Radio Shack)
Diode = $1.79 (2 pack) at Radio Shack
Solder and Iron = $0 (had it already)
Heat shrink = $0 (had it already)
Electrical tape = $0 (had it already)
Liquid electrical tape = $0 (had it already) - Optional, but I use it to make all connections completely water tight. You can't waterproof with regular electrical tape and there are some things that you just can't heat shrink.
