2007 GP GXP GPS not available,

I recently had a issue where it wouldn't start but all electronics worked fine. I thought battery since it was only clicking. I tried charging no change. I then removed the battery and got tested, it tested good. There was some corrosion on the posts so i bought post cleaner and the protector to prevent it getting bad again. I scrubbed the posts and the connectors with a small wire brush. I also scrubbed the ground wire that screws into the body above battery. After moving the small fuse box behind the battery so i could fit it I was able to then get the battery back in. The car now starts and works fine but i noticed the display doesn't show date and the GPS radio shows no time. I tried to set time but it doesn't show a GPS signal anymore so i cant set now. I went into navigation and GPS has a line through it. Anyone have any ideas or tips on how i could fix this?

Also on a side note anyone know what the little ring is that goes around the positive connector on the battery?

The ring around the positive cable is the battery current sensor. No clue about the GPS, post back your findings when you get it figured. Good luck!

No i didnt remove anything, The GPS is now working but the clock will not give me option to set time. Yesterday I had to replace starter and now voltage is at about 12 volts upon startup before it was 12-13 after i started car so i know starter was having issues since battery and alternator both test good.

Any other ideas?

I have the same issue with my GPS after have the car in the garage. I believe that the GPS signal is not reaching the unit. Look to see if your GPS has a red diagonal line through it like a nNo Smoking sign. You can replace your GPS antenna with a 3rd party antenna. This one worked fo rme.
