2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Driver door lock doesn't unlock

On my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, when I turn off the engine the doors unlock. However, today I noticed that although the other 3 doors unlock, the driver side door will not unlock unless I manually pull up the lock. It will lock, however, with either the keychain remote or the door control. It will unlock when I manually use the key to unlock the door. But it will not lock automatically! The other 3 locks on the other 3 doors work fine.

Anyone have any input? Thank you!

My 99 driver's door lock would not unlock either. After replacing the actuator with a known good used one, this fixed the problem... I posted this in the tech forum.

"Problem solved!

I located the module, near the steering column. While removing it, the lock, locked. I completely removed it, took it apart, nothing looked out of place so I put it back in.

The lock, locks every time now!

The two connectors looked fine, so did the wires, so I am not sure if just reseating the connectors fixed it or not, but I am not complaining! "

This module is the same module that has the door chime in it, plus you could feel the click from the relay, everytime you locked or unlocked the doors while touching the black plastic on the module. These clues are how I found mine...
