2006 Grand prix 3.8 problem

Hello all, I have a 2006 Grand prix with the 3.8 engine. The transmission broke a band so I replaced the transmission. The car ran fine for a little bit, but now I get "reduced engine power" displayed and the car runs extremely rough. Sometimes it ill stall. I pulled codes and everything pointed to either the throttle body or throttle pedal assembly. I replaced both and still have the same problem. I was looking around the engine bay to see if I messed something up and found a wire not connected but can't figure out where it goes. The wire runs along the top of the transmission and is clipped to the shift cable bracket. Do any of you know where it connects to? Thanks

That looks like the wire for the Magnasteer (variable assist stering). The other end should come from the rack near where the steering shaft/boot are at. Might try a relearn for the pedal assembly.

Any connector you find thats not plugged in, look at the contacts inside and if they're slightly corroded or rusty it never got plugged in from the factory.
