2006 GP GXP HUD msg??

Didn't want to have to start a new thread but I looked and looked and couldn't find anything in regards to my issue.
I recently fixed my HUD and it now has a "check trip computer" msg??? I don't have a book for the car yet as I just rescued it from its previous owners. I reset the TC the only thing I haven't done is calibrate the compass. I have the abs module off getting ready to send out so I don't really wanna drive it. Could the compass calibration be the problem??

 


What does the DIC(driver information center) say. Usually pressing the middle arrow fixes it temporarily.
 
The msg goes away in a few seconds,it didn't dawn on me until now but my DIC is showing the check abs,stability,trac etc etc cause of the abs module. I guess the DIC shows the codes and tells the trip computer which tells the hud that there's a problem?? It's all linked together??

You got it boss.
So you will have to clear it everytime you start it after hearing the dings, until the module is reinstalled.
