2005 running lights/Amber turn signals-turn off?

Is there a way to turn off the orange running lights on the front of a 2005 Grand Prix?

I think they look kinda stupid during the daylight hours.
 


Turn the knob to the off position? (Or is that just on 04?)

Otherwise, the orange corners looks a whole lot more than the low beams as daylights like the 06+.
 
There isn't a knob on 05. I believe you have to alter the wiring or it throws codes. I just switch mine off either in the driveway or the first car I get behind when I see the reflection.
