2005 monte carlo SS pcm

my friend has an extra pcm from the 2005 SS monte. and i think it was already reprogrammed. but i wanted to know if it was possible to use it in my 2007 GT. Granted that i reprogram it. i just wanted two pcms. my regular pcm and a reprgrammed one. just in case the reprogrammed one starts makin the car act up i just slip the old one back on to see if its the parameters that are all screwy.

I think that the PCM's are physically different, so I doubt it would work.

The 04-05 Supercharged Monte's and the '04-'05 Imp SS's utilized the same PCM as the 98-03 3800 cars...yours has totally different plugs and even if you got an '04-'05 GTP PCM...you'd have to have it tuned differently because GM changed the PCM's in '06.
