I have a 2005 GTP with the monsoon navigation radio. It has intermittent static coming out of random speakers that comes and goes particularly when hitting a bump or rough road. Sometimes it is there as soon as I turn the key to acc. (the car doesn’t even need to be on and the radio can also be off). Sometimes it is perfect until a bump causes the static to start. I can also make it come and go by hitting the dash near the radio, suggesting it has something to do with the head unit. The static is medium to high pitch and doesn’t vary with engine rpm (car can be off) or any other vehicle system. Anyone ever heard of this before?
