2005 Grand Prix throttle response

Hello,
New to this forum, could use some tech help.......I have an 05 w/25,xxx miles. At light throttle loads it feels like the car is surging/bucking. I've had the car for a year, it had 17,xxx miles when I bought it. The EGR valve was replaced 6 months ago because it was idling rough. This condition does not cause a check engine light, it's just more of a pain in the a-- than anything else. Any ideas would be helpful and much appreciated.

Regards, John

That could be a Throttle Position Sensor issue. Also Throttle Body Cleaning could help. These are easy inexpensive fixes. It could be something more serious But I would start out with the above first.

Pull off the TB and clean it. There are a bunch of issues since it has the Electronic Throttle it'll easily throw it off and screw with stuff...I'd start there because that is free.
