2005 grand prix misfiring

My wife's grand prix started misfiring and has gotten progressively worse to the point that it wont stay running. The only code it throws says misfire on cylinder 6. Ive replaced the plug, wire and injector on that cylinder with no luck and i swapped the coil pack with another one and the miss didnt move. Anyone have any ideas for me? I have a hard time thinking its a sensor or a cat because from my experience those will throw a random misfire code, misfire on multiple cylinders code, misfire on bank such and such code etc as opposed to a miss on a specific cylinder

Hmmmm, good one. Welcome, New Guy. Since no one else chimed in yet (I'm sure others will, and please defer to them), I'll take a stab at it. Only #6 ? Could you perform a compression test to verify #6 is close to the rest? I'm thinking misfire could be related to compression loss due to failed/damaged components. Was the plug you removed rusty or damaged? Stuff like that...

Bad ICM? Throwin that out because it just cost a friend $500 to chase down.

He complained about surge/"almost" stalling/chugging at low rpm's. It ran fine at highway speed until it didn't run at all. No idea what code(s) it showed.
