2004 + wiper assembly install removal

I have to replace my trans and linkage for the wipers. I took it all apart taking it out.

The part I'm using to replace is all pre-assembled (wiper motor and trans together) and I was wanting to keep them together as much as possible.

It won't slide in from what I can tell - where would be the best spot to separate part of the linkage?
 


Just a heads up for anyone who has to tackle this, pop of the linkage points that are on the wiper motor side. Slide everything into place and connect the wiper motor connector. Pop the linkage back on.

Don't let it go on the passenger wiper side. Keep it connected the whole time. Cheers.
