I'm currently running 06+ impala dual piston calipers which are miles and miles above our oe brakes, however I was at the local jy yesterday and I came across the cts, not cts v that everyone has already covered and I was wondering if these dual piston calipers are compatible with our w body proportioning valve etc. Maybe there similar to the impala caliper.. I have searched for 2 days and can't find any info other than the cts v brembo brakes.
Thoughts deeply appreciated.
 


i'm under the assumption that they wouldn't be much of an upgrade even if they did fit. doing the brembo's from the V isn't all that expensive either..
 
I'm guessing performance will be close to the same if not identical.

The V brakes are awesome, but you'll need 18s at least.
 
The cts v brakes would be sweet, I'm just curious because I want to upgrade another w body and was hoping these would at least be similar in performance if not a little better than the impala calipers. Perhaps they would be more like the f body calipers since there aluminum.
