2004 sunroof drains - where?

On my 2004 GT2 I found where the drain hoses go into the rocker panel area, but not where they drain out. On the passenger side it's full of water and I can't find the drain. I can pull out the end of the hose as it doesn't seem to be long enough to go anywhere else than to just stop right inside that pocket. All I can feel is a bunch of foam. The driver's side is not full of water but I wanted to check the drain anyway, and the hose goes in beside the foam and I can't pull it out ( I didn't pull very hard). Where does it drain out?

That's not where they are coming out. There's no holes or hoses by the hinges. Passenger side just seems to stop and driver's side turns toward rear of car. From what I've read it seems to be a 2004-newer deal???

Had the exact same thing on my '04 GT. Pass side drain tube hanging in the middle of the air inside the rocker behind the kick. That well on mine had 2 inches of water in it most of the time.

I believe it is a manufacturing defect. The hose is supposed to be embedded in the foam. But it's too short. F'in GM. There is a passage buried in there where the water is supposed to go, but it's clogged with foam.

Under the car: In the "seam", right next to the Jacking point there is a "v" Crimped, about 9 inches back from the edge of the front tire well. It is supposed to form a channel into the space where the water lives. The Rubber hose was supposed to be jammed in the top of it there then "Glued" in with the foam.

Pour a pint of water or so into the Drivers side front corner of the sunroof, and watch where the water piddles out from under the car.

I cleared mine out by ramming a section of sharpened steel line up from underneath.Till the water ran out. Then basically left it there.
