2004+ SE rear bumper fascia/ extension

Hello everyone.
I have a 2007 GP GXP. just finishing up the engine build and going quite NICE! but i want to add to the visuals a little bit now the important parts are almost done. I want to remove the Stock GXP bumper and install the SE bumper with the lower diffuser extension. I know the extension uses single tip exhaust pipes and that is not a problem. looks like the rear SE diffuser extension part number is 19120590. that is fairly easy to find. now according to GM parts direct the SE rear fascia is 19120500 and is discontinued. the regular stock base or GT models rear fascia part number is 89025804. So my question is. is the fascia the same between base GT and SE. can i just order the stock GT or Base model fascia. then order the lower SE extension?
 


You will need a front bumper from any 04+ GP that isn't a GXP, they're all the same in that regard. The read bumper IIRC was the same for every 04+ GP.

Front Air Dam: 19120589

Rear Valence: 19120590

Both of those and a front bumper, and you are on your way. :)

The GXP has a Unique Rear Bumper just like the Front. He will have to find a 04+ Rear Bumper as well

you are finding different part numbers for the Rear Bumpers because the SE Rear bumpers had slits for the Extension to attach to, Pleanty of members have installed the SE Extension to a regular bumper with out any issues.

Did you type this without reading??? Lol.

I like that you talk about the front bumper when he only asks about the rear SE bumper, why would someone want to remove the GXP front bumper??

Yeah, sticker shock when I saw the item weighed 4 lbs. It wouldn't hurt to shop around. They're still out there.

What's GM's end production service life these days, 10 years? The 06 Special Edition is ten years old already. Time really flies.
