2004 monson 6-disk player not working, radio is

my kids left the key on and the battery went dead. after that the cd player will not work and the eject light will not work either. is there a theft lock on it somewhere or a fuse just for the cd player. :th_nervous::th_depressed:

It sounds like something internal went bad, possibly the disc drive itself.

If it needs replacement, keep in mind you will have to have a stock stereo programmed. that will run you an hour of labor even though its a 5 minute job. It may be a good time to go aftermarket.
 
If all else fails you can get a replacement monsoon 6 disk probably on the forum for not to much and just have the dealer unlike it (last I checked it was $100 or so or go aftermarket but then you'll have to factory in getting the correct modules for stereo wheel controls and chimes etc to work.
