2004 Grand Prix not starting

So I noticed my car doesn't want to start after I make a short trip. I'll try to explain the best way i can. It's a one way trip to work no issues...8 hr shift. If I leave work my car will turn on no problem, but if I make a quick stop like to pump gas or stop for groceries the car will only crank but not start. I noticed that if I wait a while the car will turn on but no after after I get groceries. I haven't really tested it out much on how long it takes me to get groceries.
Hopefully I didn't make it too complicated trying to explain my car's problem.
Any tips are greatly appreciated.

First thing that comes to mind is have you ever cleaned the throttle body? If not, I'd start there. Then my next thought is a failing fuel pressuer regulator. Might need to get a fuel pressure gauge on it and get it to fail and see what the pressure is reading at that time.

I do get the EGR VALVE CODE with the scanner. I have already ordered that part. As for the throttle body i have not cleaned it yet.
Ill give it a shot after work.

check fuel pressure at schrader valve and spark at coilS. check coils for cracks, too. when it wont start. good idea to scan for codes, too.
