2004 Grand Prix Comp G transmission issues...

I am wondering if anyone else in here has a Comp G and has had issues with there transmission... You all know the Comp G came with the Tap shift. Well my car acts like it doesn't want to stay in overdrive when i'm coasting unless my foot is on the gas... I'm wondering if that could be a 4th gear clutch problem... With this issue, my tap shift won't allow me to choose gears... It will just stay in 1st... My cruise control also stopped working because of all of this... I'm wondering if anybody else has had this problem, and could it be electrical related, or hope for the worst??? Any info is appreciated...
 


Have you checked your fuses, both in the car and under the hood? Weird that the cruise stopped. Makes me think it's electrical. Also give a look to the trans. harness and see if it's tight and has no broken/bare wires in the harness.
 
I checked all of the fuses and the trans harness. the harness is fine. the cruise fuse was blown. I replaced it and took her for a spin and the fuse was the culprit... Thanks guys. the car drives like its supposed to now!
